Immunizations play a major role in the prevention of many serious and often deadly diseases caused by infections after exposure to a specific bacteria or virus. Today, children are required to receive a standard series of vaccinations prior to starting school. At Solantic, we’ve made it easy for you to keep your family’s immunization records updated. We offer the same walk-in service for immunizations for MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) and varicella (chicken pox vaccine). If you puncture your skin or step on a rusty nail, our urgent care clinics are open 365 days-a-year to clean your wound and administer a tetanus booster.

Many of our adult patients and public workers rely on Solantic walk-in urgent care centers for important immunizations like annual flu shots to protect against influenza A/B. Our medical staff can also administer and document a series of injections of the Hepatitis B vaccine for treatment of the viral infection or for protecting the immune system of those individuals that are exposed to the virus.
